Yelena Lapidus, M.D.
Medical Director, Avila Beach Clinic
I graduated from OB/GYN Residency in Russia in 1996 specializing in surgeries and treatments for infertility and endometriosis. I studied Family Medicine at UC Davis with a rural track allowing me to do Obstetrics and prenatal care. I am Board Certified in Family Medicine, Anti-Aging, and Regenerative Medicine, and am currently a fellow of The Metabolic Institute (supervised and credentialed by the University of South Florida). My most recent certifications are in bio-identical hormonal therapies, gastrointestinal-immune-brain connections, IV vitamin and mineral therapies, neuropsychiatry, thyroid disease management, weight loss protocols, and aesthetic medicine.

Timothy H. Jones, MD
Medical Advisor
Born in Auckland, New Zealand, Dr. Timothy Jones graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a B.A. in Exercise Physiology. He then completed his Medical Degree at Ross University, School of Medicine. During residency, he undertook advanced training in family medicine with an emphasis Emergency Medicine. Dr. Jones attended residency at Kern Medical Center and Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. After finishing his formal medical training, Dr. Jones spent 20 years as a full-time emergency physician.
Since 2018, Dr. Jones has focused on specializing in Regenerative Medicine and continues to perfect his skills. These skills include using mesenchymal cells for osteoarthritis of the knee, shoulder and hip. He also specializes in mesenchymal cell therapy to the lumbar spine to heal torn, bulging or herniated disc that cause pain and sciatica.

Dr. Mareeni Stanislaus
Medical Advisor
Dr. Mareeni Stanislaus has dedicated her career to creating a compassionate practice where women feel heard and respected. One of the first female OB-GYNs to serve California’s Central Coast, she has been caring for the community since 1996. Her holistic approach to women’s health allows her to address her patients’ concerns in the context of their whole lives, building lasting relationships that span generations: She is now proudly delivering the babies of women she delivered early in her career.
Born in Colombo, Sri Lanka, Dr. Stanislaus studied in London and Honolulu, and graduated from Punahou High School. She earned dual undergraduate degrees from Stanford University, attended medical school at UC San Diego, and completed her internship and residency at the University of Pennsylvania. She is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of AmSpa and the California Medical Association.
In 2022, Dr. Stanislaus was honored as Physician of the Year for the Central Coast, a testament to her exceptional care and dedication to her patients.
Dr. Stanislaus operates out of Twin Cities Hospital in Templeton, Sierra Vista Hospital, and French Hospital in San Luis Obispo, with privileges at Mee Memorial Hospital in King City. She and her husband, Ishka, live in Templeton, where they raised their children, Mishta, Sachin, and Shobana, and their adorable Newfoundlands.

Zayd Ratansi, N.D.
Medical Advisor
Dr. Ratansi specializes in the treatment of brain injuries and other neurological conditions using hyperbaric oxygen therapy. He lectures worldwide on the use of hyperbaric oxygen therapy for neurological conditions and has played a leading role in implementing protocols on the use of hyperbaric therapy in the mainstream medical setting. He also has been extensively trained in Environmental Medicine and has helped implement safe detoxification and cleansing programs along with hyperbaric oxygen therapy within the spa industry helping to advance Medical Spas throughout the world.

Michael Bilicska
Obispo Hyperbaric Safety Director
Michael Bilicska is the co-owner and managing partner of Obispo Hyperbarics. After 6 years in the Navy on submarines and 31 years at Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant Michael’s new career path is based on being diagnosed with cancer in 2008. By 2010 exploring various options Michael experienced hyperbarics and has included it since then as an adjunct for treating any of his health issues.
Michael has trained and qualified as a Hyperbaric Facility Safety Director. His instructors include Dick Rutowski and Joe Duturi. He has also taken the UHMS approved hyperbaric chamber operator training.
Michael’s college background includes a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Technology from NY Regents (now Excelsior College) and a Master’s in Business Administration with a specialization in Information Technology from University of La Verne.
