Yelena Lapidus, M.D.
Medical Director, Avila Beach Clinic
I graduated from OB/GYN Residency in Russia in 1996 specializing in surgeries and treatments for infertility and endometriosis. I studied Family Medicine at UC Davis with a rural track allowing me to do Obstetrics and prenatal care. I am Board Certified in Family Medicine, Anti-Aging, and Regenerative Medicine, and am currently a fellow of The Metabolic Institute (supervised and credentialed by the University of South Florida). My most recent certifications are in bio-identical hormonal therapies, gastrointestinal-immune-brain connections, IV vitamin and mineral therapies, neuropsychiatry, thyroid disease management, weight loss protocols, and aesthetic medicine.

Zayd Ratansi, N.D.
Medical Advisor
Dr. Ratansi specializes in the treatment of brain injuries and other neurological conditions using hyperbaric oxygen therapy. He lectures worldwide on the use of hyperbaric oxygen therapy for neurological conditions and has played a leading role in implementing protocols on the use of hyperbaric therapy in the mainstream medical setting. He also has been extensively trained in Environmental Medicine and has helped implement safe detoxification and cleansing programs along with hyperbaric oxygen therapy within the spa industry helping to advance Medical Spas throughout the world.

Michael Bilicska
Obispo Hyperbaric Safety Director
Michael Bilicska is the co-owner and managing partner of Obispo Hyperbarics. After 6 years in the Navy on submarines and 31 years at Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant Michael’s new career path is based on being diagnosed with cancer in 2008. By 2010 exploring various options Michael experienced hyperbarics and has included it since then as an adjunct for treating any of his health issues.
Michael has trained and qualified as a Hyperbaric Facility Safety Director. His instructors include Dick Rutowski and Joe Duturi. He has also taken the UHMS approved hyperbaric chamber operator training.
Michael’s college background includes a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Technology from NY Regents (now Excelsior College) and a Master’s in Business Administration with a specialization in Information Technology from University of La Verne.
